From Providence, take Route 195 East to the Faunce Corner North Dartmouth Exit (Exit No. 12). Take a right off the ramp, then go through 3 sets of lights (there will be malls on both sides). At the 4th set of lights (there will be a Dunkin' Donuts on your left and Mobile Station across the street), cross Route 6. Drive straight to a "Y" in the road where you'll bear left onto Chase Road. Drive 3+ miles to the end of Chase Road where you'll come to a "T." Take a right onto Russell's Mills Road (there will be a town yard with garages and trucks on your left). At this point, you'll see signs for the Demarest Lloyd State Park - follow these. As you follow the signs, always bear left (you'll pass the General Store on your left, then a small river and park with a tennis court, also on your left). Russell's Mills Road will eventually change into Horse Neck Road and later change into Barney's Joy Road. When you arrive at another "T" (there will be a small farm with a white house and horses on your left), take a left onto Barney's Joy Road and drive until you see a sign for Peak Rock Farm (156 Barney's Joy Road) on the right hand side. If you go past our home, you'll come to the State Park on the left. |
