Available Position for: |
Working Student with Horse or
Working Barn Manager
|
Work Schedule: 6 days per week |
- care of approximately 8 horses
- basic grooming, mane pulling and clipping as necessary
- getting horses ready to be ridden and taking care of them after
- some lunging and riding
|
- all barn and horse related work including muckingpacking/unpacking trailer for shows
- trailer cleaning after shows
- Winters in Florida
|
Pay & Benefits: |
For a working student with their own horse:
- shared apartment
- board and training for you and your horse
- one day off per week
- freedom to take afternoon time off if work is completed
- student provides own horses supplements, extra supplies and farrier expenses
- small salary
For a working barn manager (no horse, no riding)
- apartment
- pay determined by experience and ability
